We can perform early pregnancy scans from 6 weeks gestation. This is ideal if you want early reassurance, to confirm viability, or to see your baby's heartbeat. Many women book an early scan if they've had a previous miscarriage, after IVF, or simply for peace of mind.
What's the best time for a gender scan?
Gender scans are most accurate from 16 weeks onwards. At this stage, we can typically determine your baby's gender with 99% accuracy. We recommend booking between 16-24 weeks for optimal results.
What's the difference between 2D, 3D, and 4D scans?
2D scans show flat, black and white images - perfect for medical assessments. 3D scans create still, lifelike images of your baby's features. 4D scans are 3D images in real-time motion, letting you see your baby move, yawn, and even smile. NHS scans are typically limited to the dating scan (12 weeks) and anomaly scan (20 weeks).
